Walkinshaw Adopted Rising Star: Inside Interview with Nick Percat
Regarded as the next big thing by Walkinshaw Performance Racing, Nick Percat has progressed up the motorsport ranks from karting to Formula Ford to making his V8 Supercar Development series debut this year. V8SFG reporter Rahual, sat down with Nick to talk all things motorsport from where it all began to his future plans which includes driving in the main series.
RAHUL: Back to where it began. How and why did you get involved with motorsport?
NICK: That would be down to my Dad (Marc) he was racing go karts and I used to go to the track with him ( at a very very young age) But it probably started earlier than that when I was just 18months old at the Australian Formula one grand prix in Adelaide. Then when I was 7 I started karting myself.
