No not really, some designers may like for you to ask for permission to use their template(s)
Others may give out templates and dont really worry about you using them like the Goldfinch ones,

as long as you give them credit for usign their template that they have distributed for the public to use or they have given them to you if they dont mind you using it, you should be good
