You have got to be kidding starting our own Australian motorsport category season oversea's. This would be the biggest mistake ever made by V8SA.

That's just sad, would be an unfortunate way for Clipsal to lose popularity with the masses with something out of their control.

And given that it is on at 11:00 PM local time here in Victoria the ratings around Oz will be heavily down compared to what it would be at Adelaide.

Makes me sick in the stomach.

Has Tony lost his mind to have the first race of the season oversea's
Does he think that we the fans want to see our motorsport start the season oversea's and not at Adelaide
I hope when the people at Adelaide get word of this news that all hell breaks loose
Tony wake up and hear us fans as we dont want our motorsport overseas, we want more racing here in Australia.

maybe we should start an online petition and send it to VESA

I'm all for oversea's round BUT not for the season opener and NOT at the expense of lesss Australian rounds.

It would be like Nascar having there series opener here in Australia.

Though should I worry? It's probably TC showing that he had one too many of his XXXX packages last night...

WTF!! Has Cochrane lost his mind!? Someone give him a nice big kick up the arse, will they. How could he even suggest wanting to start the series overseas. Someone get him out of V8 Supercars!!

And what's this bulls**t about waiting for the F1 calendar??
“Melbourne don’t know their date yet (2010) so how can I do a calendar?”
Just scrap the bloody AGP support you idiot!! It's not hard to figure out a solution!!

seems like this waiting for the F1 calender means that the SYD racetrack will become the grand prix next year?

It's so that he can sort the rounds out so there is no clash
