The Australian side of the 2010 V8 Supercar series kicks off at Adelaide, beginning with the Clipsal 500. This event always produces good racing, race surprises - and I wonder how hungry turn 8 will be this year?

Feel free to have your say on what will happen, who to look at for and tip who's gonna hit the wall first!

Event Predication
We expect Team Vodafone to be strong again but DJR was quick here last year. 2x250km races is a long way so as the norm, crashes, tight racing and some weird events (eg like a fuel hose still attached to the car when it departs pitlane!) are all but certain to happen.

Who to Look Out For!
Garth Tander as I said after event 1 will be super keen to change his luck and win his first ever race at the Adelaide circuit. Jamie Whincup will be hard to beat again but keep an eye on Courtney, Will Davison, Winterbotton and Lowndes.

Yay the season starts in two weeks...

If Whincup wins I would be close to over it, TBH. If he wins the first 6-8 races of this year... I'll be concerned about the future of the other races.

Therefore... go Lowndesy!

I'll predict the first safety car of the year!!

On the Holden side, Whincup should be favourite for Clipsal, he's won the last four races there. Holdsworth has also been fast there over the last few years, HRT need to have good results in both races if they want to have a chance in the championship.

For Ford, Frosty and Courtney will both be fast there, and I'm hoping that Gizzy can continue his strong form from the Middle East.

As much as I want to see someone else win, I'm tipping Whincup...

Is there a change to the track this year? Im sure I can remember reading turns 9-11 would be slightly different about this time a year ago...???
