I noticed on the home page it was exclusive to V8SFG! Great stuff.

Truck looks awesome, however I noticed it has the 09 Jack Daniel car, as well as (most likely) the Jim Beam car from 09 too. No major, and they'll most likely fix that. The overall blue/purple/black make it look pretty mean!

What you see is how it will stay, the cars are a part of the print and to replace them would mean to replace the entire wrap! The 888 car is actually just an artist's impression so all the cars are not right!

Question: Why is the Ford flag behind the Holden drivers and vice versa?? Is it for a contrast effect, or just to confuse people like VESA usually do .

I'm not a fan of the big gold banners, they make it look like a circus truck. But the whole base effect along the side is pretty cool .

I think thats the idea of it, the V8 Circus!

Also this is only the media truck, colours are usually geared more towards Telstra and Bigpond. The series truck that carries the Safety and Course car and has their board room is usually more in line with the series logo for colours, I would suspect we will see the same design but in oranges and yellows for this truck.

We should be proud of a championship run by CLOWNS who think this is a circus.

So the rules of racing will be thrown out the door again the same as last year as long

as it pleases the circus goers. V8SCA should deliver better racing, better tracks

and a fair system of dealing with on track incidents, not like the crap we got last year.

Show me a circus where the performers DIE and I will show you a circus that changes

things to make their performers safer not ignore the deaths and plays silly games

with their performers lives.

I second that notion, im sick of the dumb rule changes that they say will BROADEN the appeal of v8 supercars. What about the original, diehard fans. I say stop trying to please people who will never like it no matter how much you try to spice it up, and stay loyal to the dedicated fans.

Why are we continually having to be subjected to these dumb ideas, why are the idiots making the decisions at the top.

V8 supercars was created to be about racing for the fans, and last year was an utter disappointment.

I dont care how long they have to ram it down my throat. When i watch the v8's, it will be a ROUND at "adelaide" or a RACE WEEKEND at Bathurst. Not an event with two races on separate days that have to be divided but held at the same track, but have two different winners, of racers 345 and 534 as the commentators can't even remember the dumb number system. Thank god for the free speech rule and Russell Ingall.


Why can't we just go back to good old fashion racing, thats why i liked to follow nascar as although they only go round the track in a circle, at least they have their priorities right with respect to the fans and the sport.

Why dont we try a chase system like some have suggested, that would make the tail end of the year more interesting.

Seems every year that their are only two battling it out after Bathurst.

I also agree, the standard of the tracks have gone down. Last time i checked circuits or road course tracks are far more dynamic and create better racing due to passing, then all these street ciruits that just seem to please the once a race viewer for the money and the carnage.

Im hope V8SA will wake up to this idiocy, and v8's get back on ch. 10, it seems like all channel 7 have down is milked ad breaks after 5 minutes of racing.

What happened, how has it gone so weird such a short time.




Also, by the way, how did they manage to stuff up the livery of the truck, its obvious the designer isn't a fan. Wrong car schemes, flags flanking the wrong men. The circus will really be coming to town with that effort.

After reading some comments that have been posted here i thought that I would just add something for everyone to think of.
1st, I would like to say is that I do agree with some comments about the V8 Supercars in the way they are running things.
2nd, Is that this thread was not ment to be a lets bag out V8supercars and all there faults, ( Yes I have been guilty for doing that myself at times elsewhere)
3rd, Is that OK they have not done a very good job with the trucks livery eg= wrong cars, flags etc,
But it is a real big deal that V8SGF are now getting exclusive rights to anything V8Supercars does or has before they got public with it , which I have to say is a great job done by Justin in getting them to deal with our group.
Sorry for all my rant but it was something that I had to say
