Just 20 days until the kick off for the 2010 V8 Supercar championship. Some teams have changed sides, some drivers have left the series, some drivers have changed teams and some didn't do much!
It's time to predict the 2010 V8 Supercar Dirver Champion, the 2010 V8 Supercar Teams Champions aswell as the Bathurst 1000 Winners. Please post your predications below - here are mine: 2010 V8 Supercar Driver Champions: Garth Tander - hes got a good young driver in W Davison that pushed him to the limit last year. Hes never been so hungry to get the number 1 back on the door as we seen at the HRT launch. He'll certainly be one of the favourites. 2010 V8 Supercar Teams Champions: HRT - but if Team Vodafone get off to a good start then maybe this will change. HRT have 2 great drivers and some consistency now, throw in that not much has changed from 2009 and these guys are very strong. Bathurst 1000 Winners: Mark Skaife/Greg Murphy if they pair together but Craig Lowndes could be a real chance if hes with a good driver with Aussie V8 experience (that means dropping the overseas employment by 888). Its hard to go past the other guys like Will Davison, Tander and Whincup aswell - not to forget Mark Winterbottom. |

2010 V8 Supercar Driver Champions:
Will Davo, came close last year and wants to go one better! 2010 V8 Supercar Teams Champions: I have a feeling Triple 8 are gonna get their heads around the commodores like the FG and come out with the teams champions. Bathurst 1000 Winners: I'm going to also say Murphy/Skaifey combo if they do pair up again. They work very well together, probably one of the best veteran pairings. Could and should won in 2009, hopefully if they do pair up they win this year! Either that or anyone who pairs with Skaife |

2010 Drivers Champion
I think Garth will run away with it the first few rounds. Will set the platform for his second V8SCS C/S. However, it'd be nice if Lowndesy got over the line and took his 4th Championship from 5 starts - in a Holden, that is 2010 Teams Champion There's no doubt in my mind that HRT and 888 will dominate this year, with SCAR, DJR, JDR, FPR, GRM and TWR fighting for third, but HRT I think will go back-to-back. 2010 Bathurst Winners It's a bit early to decide what teams are actually doing, because if some teams along the lines of BJR decide that it'll be better off sacrificing one driver's points in a championship that they aren't going to win, then those teams with a combo using your two leading drivers will be up the front (read: a Jason Richards/Jason Bright combination at Bathurst???) However whoever pairs up with Mark Skaife, Cam McConville or David Reynolds - to name a few should be highly rated for a win! (just one more thing - I wonder how Paul Radisich would be feeling about this rule change???) |

2010 V8 Supercar Driver Champions:
Jamie Whincup - Although he will be pushed very hard by Tander and Davison 2010 V8 Supercar Teams Champions: HRT - Similar to 2009 Bathurst 1000 Winners: To hard to predict with out knowing who is with who |

2010 V8 Supercar Driver Champions:
Either Garth Tander or Jamie Whincup with Davo close behind 2010 V8 Supercar Teams Champions: HRT/Team Vodafone Bathurst 1000 Winners: Hard to call without knowing the combinations. |
