I was luckly enough to be at the track for this event, from a personal point of view, I really enjoyed it, lots of passing and good racing.

Sadly, the weekend was runied by the unfortunate incident where a Mini rolled over the safety barrier into the crowd, injuring two people and the driver. It was a scary incident but I'm sure that will be debated in the other forum topic!

Driver of the Weekend:
James Courtney was the man who finally got Ford there first two championship wins in the 2010 V8 Supercar series. He drove extremely well...he was miles above everyone else in the races, won both races with more then 8 secs lead over second place.

Disappointing Performance of the Weekend
Will Davison continues to have a tough run. Hes in one of the best teams in the championship but struggling to find the form he once had in 2009. With the series so competitive today, the gap was got smaller between the top 29 cars, however we expect him to be atleast top 10.

Hard Luck Story of the Weekend:
For me, Mark Winterbottom was unluckly not to get some better results in both races, obviously more so in race 2 when he was spun into the wall, prior to turn one on lap one.

I'll add Dean Fiore to the driver of the weekend list - he did a great job to get into the top ten shootout on Saturday.

van Gisbergen and Caruso both deserve a mention too, Shane for a pair of podiums and Caruso for his great drive on Sunday.

HRT should bring Mark Skaife back. Just my opinion though, it's not like HRT won't perservere with Will D.

Seriously, Will D has been no good this season, much was expected of him. The two engine failures do not count as an excuse, he cannot get the car right.

Courtney was just in another world this weekend, had miles more speed than anybody else.
